Training Assistance
There are a lot of great resources out there for novelty runners to intermediate and advanced runners. ActiveTrainer.com or NikePlus.com contain some great online plan workouts and help you track the details of your training workouts.

Five great reasons to participate in a 5K run.

1. Ease. It’s easy to train for a 5K in less than two months for novelty runners. For the more experienced runner it’s great training for a 10K race.

2. Change. To often we get caught in a routine without any change. Running a quick 5K is a great way to stimulate both your brain and body.

3. Motivation. Races are great motivators. Once you’ve signed up to race, the excitement of being a true runner will get you out of bed in the morning or keep you off the couch after work.

4. Reward. Knowing you personally completed a 5K; whether it's your first time, or racing to beat a personal goal, you’ll feel exhilarated in less than an hour and ready to take on the day. Plus you get a great new race T-shirt to show off to friends and family .

5. Cause. With your participation and our sponsors, we provide numerous donations to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a great reason in itself.

What are the entry fees?
Entry fee is $25 up to Monday, August 22, 2011, $30 after Monday, August 22, 2011.

When is the last day to register?

  • ONLINE: Friday, August 26, 2011 at midnight is the deadline to register online. www.active.com

  • BY MAIL: All entries must be postmarked by Monday, August 22, 2011 (include registration form and check). Checks should be made payable to Digital Insurance – DI Dash. Mailing address is DI Dash, 400 Galleria Parkway, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30339. 

  • DAY OF EVENT: Registration and packet pick-up will be available starting at 6:30 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011.  

What if I would like to support the runners without running?
Become a ghost runner and you'll receive a race shirt to proudly wear as a participant.

How do I know if I am registered?
If you register online you'll receive a confirmation email. If you register by mail, your cancelled check is your confirmation. This can also be confirmed at your local bank.

What are the return policies for registration fees?
No refunds or returns will be issued. This is a rain or shine event.
