Dear runners, walkers and volunteers,

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Inaugural 2009 DI Dash 5K a tremendous success. We had great weather, a tremendous turnout, a challenging course and a worthy cause. Congratulations to the winners of the race and prize drawings, but the real winner last year was Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

With the support of our participants and sponsors, we were able to proudly hand Children’s a check for $20,000 to help continue the great work it does for our community.

We hope everyone had a great time last year. On behalf of Digital Insurance and our 170 employees, I want to say thank you to our sponsors and participants. We look forward to seeing you back again this year on August 28. We are already hard at work to make next year’s DI Dash even bigger and better than the first.

RACE INFORMATION

  • Deadline for pre-registration is Monday, August 23. Race entries will also be accepted on Saturday, August 28, at the race check-in, located on East Park Square. Race start location, click here. Parking decks are nearby. For race route, click here.
  • The entry fee is $25.00 for pre-registration and $30.00 for those who register after August 23 (walkers and runners).
    All pre-registered participants must check-in at 7:00 a.m. All other participants must register at 6:30 a.m.
  • Race begins promptly at 7:30 a.m., rain or shine.
  • Age divisions for the 5K are: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
  • Moisture wicking T-shirts will be given to all participants after the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and female individuals with the overall best times in the 5K Run and to individuals with the best times in each of the 5K age divisions.
  • There will be food and refreshments at the finish lin. All race participants will be entered in a post-race drawings for prizes including an iPad, 22" HD TVs, Great Wolf Lodge getaways and more...
